In 2022, the Biden-Harris administration and their liberal allies in Congress forced the misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act” (IRA) onto the American public despite unified resistance from the GOP. The Republicans were right then, and they are right now. Democrats’ empty promises of reduced Medicare costs and better health care for seniors have been fully exposed. Older Americans nationwide, including Florida’s five million Medicare enrollees, are now feeling the impact.
Liberals rallied behind the Biden-Harris IRA due to their obsession with climate change initiatives and their alliance with health insurance behemoths. Since Biden signed the atrocious bill into law, the IRA has diverted more than $260 billion from Medicare “savings” for left-leaning politicians to fund their misguided agenda, including electric vehicle tax credits and subsidies for big health insurance-Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) corporations.
